These sculptures were born from a place of curiosity and instinct — a desire to capture movement in stillness. I wanted to create forms that felt both grounded and alive, as if they were caught in a quiet moment of transformation. The folds and contours are guided more by intuition than precision, allowing the material to find its own rhythm. Each piece becomes a conversation between control and release, tension and softness.

I chose black for its ability to transform simplicity into elegance. There’s a modern clarity to it-a way it sharpens every curve and exaggerates every shadow. With black, the sculpture becomes less about colour and more about presence. It feels sleek, bold, and timeless, allowing the contours to speak on their own. The absence of colour becomes its own statement: pure, confident, and undeniably contemporary.
